As a lifelong gamer, I know that there's nothing worse than receiving a terrible game from an uninformed relative at Christmas. You get excited upon realizing that the present is the exact shape and weight of a videogame, and you start wondering what great gaming experience lies beyond that wrapper. Then you open it up, and realize it's Pimp My Ride for the Wii. This list is for friends or boy/girlfriends or parents of gamers that may not be in the know about what's a good gift and what's essentially giving an errand. If the gamer in your life doesn’t already have it, none of these games are going to get returned on Dec. 26.

Resident Evil 4: Wii edition
Makes excellent use of the Wii-mote, it's challenging without being frustrating, and just plain better than the Halo 3 campaign mode.

I disagree that THPG should be on the sports list. Skate would be way better.
