From the organizers: This meeting is open to all groups, organizations, individuals—anyone who is concerned about the T Bus System and Mass Transit in Lawrence.
There have been a lot of different groups and individuals working over many years to keep the T bus system a part of the Lawrence reality.
Some of us are T riders, some of us are concerned about the effects of "car culture" and high oil consumption, some of us are from organizations whose clients rely on the T daily; the thing that brings us all together is our want to save this invaluable public service.
This meeting is being called by Kansas Mutual Aid, a local grassroots community organization, in an effort to bring our collective strength to the fight to save the T. Let's come together and share skills, resources, knowledge and experience in creating a campaign to keep the T running.
