A locally produced film about C.W. Porubsky's Deli and Tavern, an establishment that has been the cornerstone of Topeka's "Little Russia" neighborhood since 1947. The film explores the history of Porubsky's, its service to the community and its relation to Topeka and the nation. Porubsky's has been a popular hangout for politicians as well as everyday blue-collar people, and has garnered national acclaim for it chili, hot pickles and cold cuts. It has weathered flood, fire and economic downturn to remain a fixture and a source of pride within the Topeka community.
