B.I.B.S.- Breast is Best Social

Description

A peer group for women seeking to learn about breastfeeding, is now meeting at the Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department. B.I.B.S. (Breast is Best Social) meets Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. at the Health Department, 200 Maine St. in Lawrence.

Both pregnant women seeking information and women currently breastfeeding are encouraged to attend to learn and share their experience.
The free group is facilitated by certified breastfeeding counselors and is held in a relaxed, come-as-you-are environment.
