Synopsis

A shiny hodgepodge of "Pinocchio," "WALL-E," "Oliver Twist," "Superman" and "The Iron Giant," as its own entity, though, "Astro Boy" is pretty forgettable. Based on a Japanese comic book that began in 1951, the film traces the origin of a young superhero who began life as a regular kid but was resurrected as a robot.
