Description

Named after Willie Hatfield, the original owner of <a href="http://lawrence.com/places/louises_downtown/">Louise's</a>, this little joint off the beaten downtown path is located in the old <a href="http://www.lawrence.com/places/shenago_lounge/">Shenago Lounge</a>. It's your basic dive bar with a laid back atmosphere that attracts a melting pot of Lawrencians and students. The bar features two outdoor patios, a pool table, darts, bar-top video trivia, jukebox, and free popcorn. The bar boasts "where the beer is always ice cold, chilled to 33 degrees," which is clutch for their preferred beer-Schlitz, a.k.a. "motor oil" at Willie's.

Food includes pulled pork and burnt ends catered by <a href="http://www.lawrence.com/places/biggs_barbeque/">Bigg's</a>.
