arts are becoming more and more underfunded and opportunities for creative expression are becoming more scarce for those of you than see the need to help the arts in kansas this is your chance jump in with your checkbook in hand hope and change you know
no suprise, lawrence has all the money they need for starting artsts. after all dont the other towns need art money worse than lawrence art folk? they seem to be supported locally
sorry, but it takes money to do anything just like this project, you can only hold your hand out so long. local radio needs advertizers, and local busiensses dont put out much for advertising, let alone radio if the old lazer had plenty of listeners and advertisers, i doubt if much would have changed, so that should tell you something, sure alot of whiners carp about the old lazer but their just wasnt enough of them to start with
gardening is hot work , and you get your hands dirty you have to do alot of bending, and it isnt any fun besides with this years weather only the serious gardens survive
so i see no reason any young person would care to garden unless of course they were brought up understanding what a days work is really about
i hope we can still dress up our dogs and take them to farmers market again this year ..fluff fluff has such a good time, , and everyone enjoys dogs at the market
if you want to have good quality reasonably priced american food or any type of food you best bet is to stay home and make it yourself no tax, no tip, no complaining about the quality or service of course you have to get off your butt, and you will have the kitchen to clean afterwards, but thats life La Famila was always my favortie, but they are never a bargain, and i didnt plan on getting out for the cheap anyway but if it was free, some folks in lawrence would still whine
